A wheelchair race exclusively for disabled athletes!
And – every year it is getting bigger and better! The number of entries has increased dramatically, with disabled athletes and other persons in wheelchairs flocking to this annual event.

- Closing date for manual pre-entries is Friday, 25 February @ midnight
- Race entry fees:
- Marathon: R100
- Half-Marathon: R80
- 10km Wheelchair: R60

- Registration / Number collection will take place on:
- Friday, 4 March 2022 11:00-18h00 @ the venue
- Please present your ID document at registration
General Information
- RULES
- The race is subject to the rules of ASA, ASWDRAA, IPC, IAAF, ISMWSF and IWAS
- You must obey the marshals, traffic officers and officials at all times
- No cyclist or private vehicle will be allowed on the routes
- All the athletes must wear temporary licences
- Age restrictions:
- Racing Wheelchairs: 21 km and 42 km – 15 years or older
- Hand cyclist: 21 km and 42 km – 15 years or older
- The entry fee will not be returned unless the organisers reject the entry
- Helpers are not permitted to run with the chairs
- Cut-off time: 3 hours
- Athletes in the 42.2 km, 21.1 km and 10 km MUST wear crash helmets
